10 Worst (Although Memorable) Hollywood Mothers
| Share | Tweet |
They are often referred to as God’s own representative on Earth because he couldn’t be everywhere. They are called ‘Mothers’ and are someone we probably love more than we ever love God in our lifetime.
Movies are often made out if real life inspiration and in many of these ‘Moms’ have been portrayed in their true light – an epitome of love, care and affection. However there are some movie mothers that you will certainly disagree with when you weigh their affection and love quotient in respect of their children.
Here are some of the top of the list worst mothers in movie history.
Jeannie Stifler in American Pie (1999)

She was Stifler’s mother in the movie and a complete unfathomable woman who has no qualms whatsoever in seducing a good friend of her son. She seduces Finch in the movie whilst the son and his friends were in the house having a party.
Margaret White in Carrie (1976)

The mother of Carrie was Margaret who taught her to believe that affinity to men and any acts that was sexual behavior was an act of sin. Margaret even attempts to murder her daughter in the movie when Carrie shows psychokinetic capabilities.
Kate McCallister in Home Alone 1 (1990)

A mother remembers to pack all but her son that had been irresponsibly locked up in the attic by her the night before the trip. That’s not an excusable motherly instinct. And clearly not a exemplary one as well even as she turned back and struggled against odds to return to Kevin – her son who was Home Alone during Christmas trying to protect the home from robbers.
Mrs. Bates in Psycho (1960)

A tyrannical mom that almost got nerves cracking for the young mind of Norman Bates who ends up murdering her and then smitten by guilt all over. He attempts to preserve her body with his taxidermy skills just to keep the faith running in his mind that his mother is still alive.
Beverly Sutphin in Serial Mom (1994)

It would be difficult to explain her as a villain mom even when she went about killing people. The victims of her rage were all those who tampered on the hearts and minds of her children and came in the way of her family. Nevertheless she wrecked havoc and that is inexcusable as a mother.
Viola Fields in Monster in Law (2005)

In spite of this being a romantic comedy there is nothing that could take away the glory of being one of the worst mothers to her son Kevin. Viola Fields in the movie is the super conniving mom who tries to rid her son’s fiancée even on the day of the wedding.
Joan Crawford in Mommy Dearest (1981)

This film was based on the real life story written by Christina Crawford who was the adopted daughter of actress Joan Crawford. In her book Christina claims to have been abused as a child as Joan Crawford was more preoccupied with her alcoholism and movie career than the welfare of any of her four children all of whom were adopted. She was herself at the point of being strangled to death by her mother in a fit of rage about the quality of hangers in her wardrobe.
The Stepmother in Cinderella

She could be the ultimate inspiration for all the wicked hearted mothers of cruel acts. This lady is second to none when it comes to conspiracies and plotting against the stepdaughter whose presence she despised. She went from one ugly plan to the other to hurt Cinderella and make her a slave to her two ugly daughters. And in the end watch the Prince take Cinderella away.
Ma Fratelli in The Goonies (1985)

She is the name of ultimate and horrific domination in the Fratelli family. Marked with an attitude that cries out ‘no mercy’ she takes a special delight in scaring and torturing her young child captives.
Linda Gardner in The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)

You can brand one among a worst mother when she is cruel and hard on you. But what do you say when she smiles and strikes her worst at you by walking away and out of your life. Nothing but still say that she was bad as much. Linda leaves her husband and a little son in pursuit of an income and happiness whilst the other two were left in misery with none to rely on but themselves.
Mothers are always the best of all our earthly treasures. This is a part of the list of the entire make believe and funny deviations created as part of the world of movie gimmicks. There are loads more of some of the worst ever movie mothers for you to know. Just keep watching.

19.07.55 at 7:07 pmHow can you leave out Mrs. Iselin from “The Manchurian Candidate?” She abuses her son emotionally at least as badly as the mother in “Monster-in-Law,” and then supports others who reprogram his brain.

22.05.18 at 10:05 pmWOW terrible article. I have seen grade school kids that have more ability with grammar. This article is in some bad need of editing. “Nothing but still say that she was bad as much.” Terrible sentence, and anybody that would put something like that in an article has no business writing.
